Among Frank’s fiction works: a science fiction novel, "The Chronicles of Ki – Book 1: In the Beginning;" “Book 2: Days of Reckoning,” recently published. A self-published (Amazon/KDP) detective novel, "Lie Down with Silk and Daggers," and another in the Jazz Malone series being written, "Lie Down with Cellos and Nightshade;" a children’s picture book, "The Quite Remarkable Tales of Professor Cooper T. Cat and Alouishus B. Hound – Book 1: Only the Nose Knows;" "Book 2: The Buckwheat Bandits," being written; and a baker’s dozen short stories self-published as, "Relative Bearings: Collected Short Stories."

Frank holds an Associate of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from St. Petersburg College, St. Petersburg, Florida, and has a Bachelor of Arts in English/Creative Writing pending 4 semester hours from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. He is eligible to join MENSA, and has been qualified through intelligence testing as a PhD candidate by the State of Florida.

An avid reader and writer of fiction and non-fiction, several of Frank’s non-fiction works have appeared in motor enthusiasts’ magazines such as: Chevy Rumble, Family & Performance Boating, 4 X 4 Builder, and, Ford Builder.

Newsprint articles written by Frank have appeared in: Tampa Bay Times, Lansing State Journal, and The Oracle (the student newspaper of the University of South Florida).

Frank has held a real estate salesman’s license in Florida and Hawaii. He has owned and successfully operated six small businesses: Tri-R-Services, a remodeling contractor; Crystal Earth Imports, a Mayan Indian products importer; Homegrown Computers, a computer manufacturer; BioGreen Majic, offering a magical growing solution; and The Copywriting Whiz, offering a wide variety of professional copywriting services.

In his youth, Frank sang tenor in his church choir and his junior and senior high school choirs. He was a member of a barber shop quartet, and a choral group, The Gondoliers, and also played a tenor guitar and sang tenor in a folk group, The Florida Travelers. As a proficient and innovative bass guitar player, he played in two professional rock bands, one called Last Rytes, the other, Pure Blue. While in the Navy, he was invited, but had to turn down the chance, to play bass for a nationally-known rock band, Count Five.

Frank served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, and attained the highest NCO rank possible during that four years of service, Petty Officer Second Class (E-5).

Reading, contemplation, meditation, music and writing are several of Frank’s passions. Love of Nature, and bicycling are others. He has performed volunteer work for Habit for Humanity; Florida Social Services, Division for the Blind; and Volunteers of America.

Frank presently lives the singular life with his cats, Banjo and Billie in Riverview, Florida.
